DeVitas Pizzeria & Cafe Bar: Exceptional Dining Experience in Wick

Wonderful little spot especially on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff, good food, and great wine. Best service on our trip so far!

What a relief. After having a horrible "Medditeran experience" at Luqoom in Inverness (it was horrible Italian food), this was a breath of fresh air. Those with nut allergies will be pleased to hear that main food dishes and sides do not have nuts (not sure about deserts). The Pizza was spectacular and was the perfect size. The soup of the day was minestrone soup, and was great. The waitresses were fantastic. Be aware, at busy hours you need a reservation. Overall great restaurant in Wick.

Me and my husband came here for dinner tonight, the food was absolutely amazing! The service too, but one of the staff there, assuming she was the boss, was very rude with her staff. One of the waitresses was being pestered by her the entire shift and it really gave off negative vibes. After this the poor waitress was visibly distressed for the rest of her shift. Besides that everything was great

This is a small restaurant with tables separated by sections making it little difficult to get in and out. The staff spoke between themselves quite loudly and it was obvious when there was a bit of a dispute. The atmosphere would be much improved if you couldn’t overhear all of their discussions when dining. The food however was great!

Absolutely delicious. Second visit and will certainly go again. the carbonara was to die for. Friendly staff with a good atmosphere. definitely worth a visit I your thinking.

After reading the reviews I decided to try Devitas. So I glad I did. After being in a tent for 2 weeks with average food I was looking forward to a nice meal. The staff were attentive, friendly and anything I asked for. The food wasn’t rushed out to me and a nice amount of time between my starter, Jalapeño Toppers (yummy) and my main, Mexican Pizza, which was just the right size and also full of flavour and fresh vegetables. I had the Pinot Gris which wasn’t bad and pretty cheap. Altogether a lovely evening, thank you!

We’ve only just discovered this restaurant as we don’t tend to travel to Wick to eat out, preferring Thurso or further south on the A9. So, fancying Italian food for a change, we had a quiet dinner at Devita’s for the first time last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent, service was exceptional and prices were very fair indeed. We only wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner, as we learned last night that the current owners are retiring and the property and business are up for sale. Let’s hope it is sold to someone who intends to continue with the Italian theme and runs it as well as it is now.
